When we got in and asked for a simple haircut, they asked me: do you want scissor only use scissor and hair clippers? Well it is so apparent to anyone that we have to use hair clippers. Shouldn’t they know this? OK, hair clippers. What size? How about size 4? I have to say this is the first time we were asked for such a question. Who is the professional here? If I know everything, why do we come here? OK, size 4. She cut it all the way through with size 4, from bottom to the top, leaving the bottom too long and the top too short. Isn’t it common sense that human head is round and not flat? Therefore to make a decent hair cut, you should use smaller buzzer at the bottom and bigger ones at the top? We asked to make the bottom shorter and she seemed to be upset by our request. “I already used a size 4 and now I have to use a different size.” Yes, of course, lady. Then she used size 3 overall the head again and what a disaster. Somehow she must think that cutting human hair is as simple as mowing a lawn with one set length. Terrible! Apparently, she didn’t know how to cut men’s hair well and she did care to ask the customer’s need to find out what they need. We will never, ever go there again.
Terrible experience for An Asian gentleman! Actually, it is the worst haircut in his whole lifetime so far (65 years). Not professional or friendly. Not sure why anyone would want to be there, ever.

I Have to say....I never write a review about anything...but I love Hair Core!! I have a seven year old daughter and we both felt like trying a new hair shop. We walked in, and everyone was so friendly. They listened to what I wanted and cut my hair the way I told them to....not what they thought it should be...I loved it. My daughter April loved hers as well. I found my new shop!! :)
Afterwards, I end up fixing my dad’s hair for the bottom part to make it shorter. For the top part, we have to wait till it grows longer. If I knew I could do a much better job than hers, we wouldn’t bother being there in the first place. The lesson is: don’t always trust professionals just because of their uniform or title. They could make things worse.
Best local barbershop, way better than the Supercuts franchise stores in the area.
